We had The Passive Voice Quiz some time ago. But why not do it again with different questions – about Serbia.

Here is an English game similar to our game ‘Kaladont’. In order to play it well students should know spelling.

String

Level: Elementary upwards
Age: any
Time: up to 5 min

Can be used as ‘warm-up’
Try it out in groups of 4-6..

Rules:

• The teacher starts by saying the word ‘string’. Either designate students in turn, or follow a ‘circle’, so that each person has to think of a word which begins with the last letter of the previous word.
• No word may be repeated
• Words ending with the letter ‘e’ are forbidden.
• If you want this to be a competition game then a student who makes a mistake is out.
• Alternative: For each good answer a student gets a point. If he/she makes a mistake – no point.
